Ambrosia is a chocolate maker, a wholesaler, and a retail store front.
We are one of a small group of chocolate makers in North America making Bean to Bar chocolate. We source organic, fair trade and ethically sourced beans from all over the world to make our single origin bars. Each bar is unique and has a flavour profile connected to the origin of the beans.
We also have a small store front that we open to the public on Saturdays with a selection of pastries, tartes, cookies, marshmallows and preserves.
Tim Simpson and Aura Hertzog met in cooking school in the fall of 1999. Their experience in the food industry is vast and includes everything from high end hotels, large scale restaurants, small pastry shops, farmer’s markets, international supermarkets and catering companies. This is the second bakery business for them.
